Gaming — Play Within Your Limits
At ji baji, we believe that entertainment should always come first. Our Responsible Gaming programme gives every player in Bangladesh the tools, information, and support they need to keep gambling fun, safe, and under control. 18+ only.
Our Commitment
How ji baji Keeps You Safe
We have built six core player-protection pillars into the ji baji platform so that every player across Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, and beyond can enjoy gambling as a form of entertainment — never as a financial strategy.
ji baji enforces a mandatory minimum age of 18 for all account holders. Every player must pass our Know Your Customer (KYC) age verification process before they can deposit or place a bet. No exceptions, no workarounds.
Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits directly from your account settings. Once your chosen limit is reached, ji baji automatically blocks further deposits for that period — keeping your spending firmly in check.
If you need a short break, activate a time-out period of 24 hours, 72 hours, or 7 days. During a time-out, your account is fully suspended — no bets, no deposits, no logins — giving you the space to step back and reassess.
Players who feel they need a longer break can request self-exclusion for periods ranging from 30 days to a permanent lifetime ban. During self-exclusion, the account is closed and cannot be reopened until the exclusion period expires.
Enable session-time alerts that remind you how long you have been playing at regular intervals. These gentle nudges help you stay aware of the time you are spending on the platform and encourage regular breaks.
Our trained responsible gaming support team is available around the clock. Whether you need to activate a limit, discuss a concern, or request self-exclusion, our team responds quickly and with complete confidentiality.
1. Age Restriction & Verification
When you register an account at ji baji, you are required to declare that you are at least 18 years of age. This declaration alone is not sufficient — ji baji conducts formal KYC (Know Your Customer) age and identity verification before any player is permitted to deposit funds or place real-money bets.
Acceptable verification documents include a valid National Identity Card (NID), passport, or other government-issued photo identification that clearly shows your date of birth. Until verification is completed, deposit and withdrawal functionality is restricted on your account.
Parental Controls
If you share a device with younger family members, ji baji strongly encourages you to use your device's parental control features, browser-level content filters, or third-party tools such as Net Nanny or Kidlogger to prevent minors from accessing gambling websites. Keep your ji baji login credentials secure and never share your username or password with anyone, including family members.
2. Recognising Problem Gambling
Gambling is a popular form of entertainment enjoyed by millions of people, including a growing number of cricket and sports betting fans across Bangladesh. For the vast majority of players, it remains an enjoyable pastime. However, for some individuals, gambling can develop into a problematic behaviour that negatively affects their finances, relationships, mental health, and daily life.
Problem gambling — sometimes called compulsive gambling or gambling disorder — is a recognised condition that can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or income level. The key difference between recreational gambling and problem gambling is control: a problem gambler continues to bet despite wanting to stop and despite experiencing harmful consequences.
Common Warning Signs
- Spending more money on gambling than you originally intended or can afford
- Chasing losses by placing additional bets to try to win back money you have lost
- Borrowing money from friends, family, or financial institutions to fund gambling
- Gambling interfering with work, study, family responsibilities, or social life
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not gambling
- Hiding gambling activity from family members or close friends
- Thinking about gambling constantly, even when engaged in other activities
- Making repeated unsuccessful attempts to cut down or stop gambling
- Using gambling as a way to escape stress, anxiety, or personal problems
3. Self-Assessment Checklist
The following questions are designed to help you reflect on your own gambling habits. Answer honestly — this checklist is private and exists solely to help you understand your relationship with gambling. If you answer "Yes" to three or more of these questions, we encourage you to reach out to our support team or an independent counselling service.
4. Player Protection Tools
ji baji provides a comprehensive suite of player protection tools that you can activate at any time, directly from your account settings or by contacting our support team. These tools are free to use, take effect quickly, and are designed to put you firmly in control of your gambling activity.
Set a maximum deposit amount per day, week, or month in BDT. Reductions take effect immediately; increases require a 24-hour cooling-off period before activation.
Cap the total amount you can lose within a set time period. Once the limit is reached, further wagering is suspended until the period resets.
Set a maximum individual bet or stake amount. Useful for players who want to enjoy the experience without placing large single wagers.
Limit each gaming session to a maximum duration. When the limit is reached, you will be automatically logged out and prompted to take a break.
Receive on-screen notifications at regular intervals (e.g., every 30 or 60 minutes) reminding you how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered in the current session.
Take a short break of 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days. Your account is suspended for the chosen period with no possibility of early reactivation.
5. Self-Exclusion Programme
Self-exclusion is the most robust protective measure available on the ji baji platform. It is designed for players who feel that gambling has become or is becoming a serious problem in their lives and who want to make a firm commitment to stop gambling for an extended period.
Available Self-Exclusion Periods
- 30 Days: A one-month exclusion for players who need a meaningful break but anticipate returning to recreational gambling in the short term.
- 90 Days: A three-month exclusion that provides a longer period of reflection and recovery.
- 6 Months: A mid-term exclusion suitable for players dealing with a more persistent pattern of problematic behaviour.
- 1 Year: A twelve-month exclusion for players who need significant time away from gambling to address the underlying issues.
- Permanent / Lifetime: A permanent, irrevocable exclusion for players who wish to stop gambling with ji baji entirely and indefinitely.
What Happens During Self-Exclusion
Once a self-exclusion is activated, your ji baji account is immediately and fully closed. You will not be able to log in, deposit, withdraw, or place bets during the exclusion period. Any promotional or marketing communications from ji baji will be suspended. If you have a positive account balance at the time of exclusion, our team will arrange a withdrawal of those funds to your registered payment method.
Reactivating After Self-Exclusion
For exclusions of 30 days to 1 year, reactivation is possible only after the full exclusion period has elapsed and only following a formal reactivation request to our support team, subject to identity verification. There is a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period between the end of exclusion and account reactivation. Permanent exclusions cannot be reversed under any circumstances.
6. Deposit & Spend Limits
Managing how much you deposit and spend is the simplest and most practical way to stay in control of your gambling. ji baji makes this straightforward by allowing you to set hard limits on deposits, losses, and wagers across any time period of your choosing.
How Deposit Limits Work
Deposit limits cap the total amount of money (in BDT) that you can transfer into your ji baji account during a defined period. You can set limits for daily, weekly, or monthly intervals. For example, if you set a daily deposit limit of ৳2,000, you will not be able to deposit more than ৳2,000 in any 24-hour period regardless of which payment method — bKash, Nagad, Rocket, Upay, or bank transfer — you use.
Adjusting Your Limits
- Reducing a limit: Takes effect immediately. If you reduce your daily deposit limit from ৳5,000 to ৳2,000, the new lower limit applies right away.
- Increasing a limit: Subject to a mandatory 24-hour waiting period. This built-in delay gives you time to reconsider before a higher limit becomes active, helping prevent impulsive decisions made in the heat of the moment.
- Removing a limit entirely: Treated the same as an increase — a 24-hour delay applies before the limit is removed.

8. Tips for Responsible Play
The following guidelines represent the foundation of healthy, sustainable gambling habits. Whether you are a cricket betting enthusiast following the BPL and T20 World Cup, a slots player, or a live casino regular, these principles apply equally to every form of gambling on the ji baji platform.
- Set a budget before you start and stick to it. Decide in advance exactly how much money you are willing to spend in a session. Treat this amount as the cost of entertainment — not as capital to be recovered through winnings.
- Never chase your losses. Losing is a normal part of gambling. Placing additional bets to try to recover losses is one of the most dangerous patterns in problem gambling. If you have hit your loss limit for the session, stop and walk away .
- Only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Never use funds set aside for rent, food, utility bills, school fees, or other essential expenses. Gambling should come from discretionary income only.
- Take regular breaks. Set a timer and step away from the screen every 30 to 60 minutes. Use ji baji's session time alerts to remind yourself. Fatigue and prolonged play can impair judgement and lead to poor decisions.
- Gambling is not an investment strategy. The odds on every casino game and sports bet are structured to favour the house over the long run. Do not rely on gambling as a source of income, and never gamble with borrowed money.
- Keep gambling in perspective. Make sure gambling is just one of many leisure activities in your life. Maintain strong relationships with family and friends, pursue hobbies, and keep a healthy work-life balance.
- Do not gamble under the influence. Alcohol, certain medications, and extreme emotional states (grief, anger, stress) can impair your decision-making. Avoid gambling when your judgement may be compromised.
- Be honest with yourself. Periodically review your gambling habits using the self-assessment checklist in Section 3. If your answers concern you, act on them rather than dismissing them.
- Use the tools available to you. ji baji's deposit limits, time-out features, and self-exclusion programme exist for a reason. Using them is a sign of maturity and self-awareness — not weakness.
- Know when to seek help. If gambling is affecting your finances, your relationships, or your mental health, please reach out to our support team or one of the organisations listed in Section 7. Early intervention makes recovery significantly easier.
